Rick Spivey has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, and specializes in wealth accumulation, wealth protection, and wealth transfer strategies. Prior to joining TWC, Mr. Spivey was a Managing Director at United Bank.

Mr. Spivey has been involved with sophisticated life insurance transactions throughout his career, and is considered an expert in that area, providing services to business owners, corporate executives, professional athletes, banks, and publicly-traded companies. In addition, he has served on the Board of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Life Underwriter® from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining TWC, Mr. Carson worked as a Financial Consultant with an international financial services firm. He has held sales and account management positions in varying other industries, and has received several awards and honors for excellent client service and his entrepreneurial spirit.

Mr. Carson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University. He also maintains life and health insurance licenses in the states of Maryland, New York and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Casagrande specializes in executive, faculty, and staff compensation and benefits. He has consulted with a wide range of organizations, but is primarily focused on clients in healthcare, higher education and tax-exempt sectors. He has more than 35 years’ experience in consulting and education.

Prior to joining TWC, Mr. Casagrande worked with Hay Group for more than ten years leading their Institutions of Higher Education Sector in the U.S. and a key contributor to Hay Group’s work on executive compensation and benefits within healthcare and other tax-exempt organizations. He has more than 35 years’ experience with a variety of firms including KPMG Peat Marwick and Buck Consultants where he worked as a tax compliance consultant, employee benefit plan audit specialist and actuarial consultant. He also worked for the Passaic Board of Education as a secondary school mathematics teacher and Rutgers University and Montclair State University as an adjunct professor. He is author of Career Transitions: Your Guide to Career Transition and a frequent speaker at association meetings including those sponsored by American Council on Education, Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, Association of Chiropractic Colleges, Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, College and University Professional Association of Human Resources, Council of Independent Colleges, International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities, National Association of College and University Business Officers, SunTrust, TIAA, and YMCA of the USA.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Union College and a Master’s degree in Teaching from Montclaire State University. He holds an Executive Compensation Certificate from WorldatWork and is also a retired Enrolled Actuary.

As Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts, Mr. Cole works with The Warner Companies key clients to develop strategic solutions and sensible execution processes for the most complex employee benefit challenges. He specializes in all aspects of employee benefits including design, funding, implementation, communication, compliance and administration management.

Before joining TWC, Mr. Cole worked for Crawford Advisors as new business producer and Strategic Account Executive for many of the company’s most prestigious clients. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Aon Consulting as a consultant, project leader for its key accounts, and practice leader for the Health and Benefits division in the Baltimore and Bethesda offices. 

Mr. Cole has more than 30 years of benefits experience specializing in the areas of strategic benefit planning, financial analysis, vendor analysis and selection, renewal negotiations, communications and plan administration. He has worked with clients in a variety of settings in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. 

Mr. Cole has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Towson University. He is a licensed insurance advisor in the State of Maryland. He also maintains life and health insurance licenses in the states of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida.


Mr. Gramigna specializes in comprehensive financial consulting services to high net worth individuals and successful corporations. Prior to joining TWC, he provided financial planning for clients for one of the top 28 largest insurance companies.

Mr. Gramigna holds a Bachelor of Business Administrative degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1991 and 1992 he was named NCAA Academic All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He is a registered representative with a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member firm holding the Series 6, 63, and 65 designations and insurance licenses for life, health, disability and long term care.

In addition to Mr. Gramigna’s business and professional activities, he is an avid golfer. Mr. Gramigna is a former New Jersey Amateur and Mid-Amateur Champion, has been named "New Jersey Golfer of the Year" and competed in several USGA events. He was President of Tavistock Country Club from 2014-2016 and continues to serve on the Board of Governors.

Mr. Lester brings over 18 years of experience in the area of Executive Benefits to The Warner Companies. Throughout his career, Mr. Lester has been responsible for building strong, long-term relationships with his clients.

Prior to joining TWC, Mr. Lester was a founding partner of a commercial real estate firm and was the top Atlanta Commercial Realtor in 1991. He developed over two million square feet of mixed-use space and planned the development of four parks totaling over 1,200 acres. Mr. Lester's clients benefit from this project management experience. He started his career in executive benefits as the Chief Administrative Officer for a start-up firm in Atlanta and spent over 14 years with another national executive benefit consulting firm.

Mr. Lester's clients include companies in the Fortune 500 marketplace. He serves clients with plans ranging from ten eligible participants to over 500 eligible participants. He has completed projects for clients in diverse industry sectors, such as: High Tech/Information Services, Manufacturing, Home Building, Consumer Products, Public Utility, Defense, Hospitality and Banking. Several of his clients have discrimination testing issues in their 401(k) Plans, and he has worked to provide benefit restoration to the key employees using cost effective solutions.

Mr. Lester earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Grove City College (PA) and his MBA from Emory University (GA). He holds both Series 6 and 63 securities designations, as well as life and health insurance licenses.

In addition to Mr. Lester's professional achievements, he is a trained percussionist and has played drums for a number of bands. He founded two non-profit organizations that strive to support high school athletes in his local community and encourage younger children to be more active. For the past ten years, Mr. Lester has also taught micro-economics for a local college.

Mr. Russell specializes in estate planning, including business continuation planning for family owned and closely held businesses. He provides his clients with the investment and insurance products necessary to implement a financial plan.

Mr. Russell completed the curriculum of the College of Financial Planning in 1992 and earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner® in March of 1993. He served in the U.S. armed forces and is a Veteran of the Vietnam conflict. Prior to joining The Warner Companies, Mr. Russell was successful in implementing and managing a retail investment department for a regional bank in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the International Association for Financial Planning and the York County, PA Estate Planning Council. He has been an active member of the Board of Directors for the Towson University Foundation and is on the Board of Advisors for the Towson University School of Business and Finance.

Since 1973, Mr. Snyder has served a broad-based clientele, including high net worth individuals and families, and both privately-held and publicly-traded companies. Mr. Snyder’s expertise ranges across a broad spectrum, from employee and executive benefit planning to wealth accumulation and wealth transfer strategies.

Mr. Snyder received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, with additional post-graduate studies at The Johns Hopkins University. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter® designation from the American College, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and is a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Mr. Snyder has been, and continues to be, a member of numerous local and National industry related organizations, and is a past president of the Baltimore Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Throughout his career, Mr. Snyder has appeared as a guest speaker on a variety of topics, and has served as an instructor teaching industry related courses. Apart from his business activities, he has been actively involved in many civic, educational and charitable endeavors.     

Mr. Unger began his 30-year career in employee benefits starting with several years at CareFirst, WellPoint/Anthem and Highmark/United Concordia. He also has decades of advisory and consultant experience.

Mr. Unger led regional and national benefits practices for private and public broker/consultants and is a highly regarded expert in self-funding solutions and innovative risk focused benefits delivery models. 

Designing and delivering effective self-funding and fully insured solutions for commercial and labor partners, population health management, long term benefits risk planning and cost stability are his strengths.

Mr. Unger’s success in delivering long-term, stable insurance and risk management solutions to clients and partners, deep experience with self-funded and fully insured carrier solutions, TPA’s and creative ongoing client strategies has led Mr. Unger to become a valued member of the TWC team.
